PITCHERS ON THE MOVE
As luck would have it, Jim and Flo recently were able to acquire
this lovely 40' Eby Aluminum stock trailer.   It's the rig of our
dreams. All we can say is.......Woohoo! (& Thanks Fred!)
Now that "the trailer" has been secured
Expect to see the Pitcher gang out and about in the Alaska horse
community more than ever.

Another recent equipment purchase was a "rock picker". This is
something most horseman realize the value in owning.  It will be
used to improve footing on our trails and outdoor riding areas.

Remember to wear your
riding helmet this season!
Be sure to choose one that is
approved for equine sports. Other
helmets such as those made for
bicycles are not suitable to protect
your noggin for horse back riding.

December 26th. Your Invited!
Pitcher Ranch December 2009
This APHA Stallion has completed his first 60
hours of training time here at Pitcher Ranch.
"Real Easy Winner" learned to round pen, lead
correctly and square up nicely. He turned out to
be a good horse in all gaits both bare back and
in the saddle. Ended up with a very smooth
reverse gear and a nice button for side passing.

He now faces UP CLOSE wild life very well and
should prove to be a steady and reliable mount
in all gaits for his owner, Krystal of Haulinass
horse transport.

Looks like this is as close to a Smile as
we're getting from Hope today! Can't see
me but  I'm smil'in cause I ain't plowin!
The weather for the
December 26th family ride
was really warm.

All the incredible frost that
was hangning on the trees
for weeks before,
disappeared!

But it was nice to have a
warm out door ride.

Several green horses were
on the ride. Jim and Flo
rode their stallions, and
Krystal rode Flo's green
mare Blue.

Rhonda rode Warrior, who
was a real gentleman for
her. A big difference from
our Spring ride! Our hats
off to Rhonda and all the
hard work that she has put
into her gelding in 2009!
December 26th 2009 family ride on Pitcher Ranch
There's a new boy in town!
It is March 2010, and Pitcher Ranch has no
horses for sale at this time!

If you are interested in a prospect in the
lower 48, Flo is considering a trip down and
back.

Cost will be $1000 per horse and the trip will
occur May 2010.

We stop often, and do treat your horse like we
do our own on the road.

We provide both water and feed for the trip.

Space is limited!
